Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-05-25
Welcome to Brainbox. Before registering and paying for our offline hands-on courses and related services, please read the following terms carefully. Once you complete payment (including full payment or any form of installment payment), you fully understand and agree to be bound by all of the following terms. These terms are issued by The Brainbox Technologies Sdn. Bhd. (Company No. 1676601-V).
1. Cancellation & Refund Policy
In view of the highly limited seating capacity of our offline physical courses, and the fixed upfront costs involved (venue rental, instructor scheduling, and educational materials), we enforce the following strict cancellation and refund mechanism: 1.1 Strictly No Refunds: Once payment for course registration is successfully completed, the transaction is considered final. The Company does not accept any refund requests based on personal reasons (including but not limited to scheduling conflicts or change of personal preference). 1.2 Disclaimer on External Promises: Any refund promises made through non-official channels (including but not limited to verbal or written commitments by external marketing agents or outsourced sales personnel) are deemed invalid. All service standards and refund rules shall be governed solely by these Terms. 1.3 No-Show Policy: If a student fails to attend the course on the scheduled date, it shall be deemed as a voluntary forfeiture of the right to attend. Brainbox will not provide any refund, free make-up session, or transfer of the seat to a subsequent batch. 1.4 Seat Transfer: In the event that a student is unable to attend due to force majeure, the seat may be transferred to another person free of charge, provided that the request is made at least 3 working days before the official course commencement. The transfer must be submitted through official customer service channels, along with the new student's complete information for system registration. If the original student purchased the course through any installment payment plan, the remaining installment payments shall continue to be paid by the original student in accordance with the original schedule, regardless of the seat transfer, and shall not be the responsibility of the transferee. 1.5 Paid Rescheduling: If a student wishes to postpone their course to a subsequent batch, a formal request must be submitted at least 5 working days before the course commencement, along with an additional administrative and rescheduling fee of RM 150. Each student is entitled to reschedule only once, and rescheduling is subject to seat availability in the subsequent batch. 1.6 Official Cancellation Clause: In the event of force majeure (such as extreme weather or unexpected venue malfunctions) or failure to meet the minimum class enrollment, Brainbox reserves the right to cancel or change the course date or location. In such cases, the student will be transferred to the next scheduled course free of charge.
2. Intellectual Property Policy
The core knowledge assets provided by Brainbox are strictly protected by law to ensure exclusivity and professional integrity. 2.1 Restriction on Use of Assets: All teaching materials, code snippets, prompt libraries, automation workflow templates, AI Agent configuration files, and similar digital assets provided during the course are strictly limited to "personal learning and internal development" use by the student. 2.2 Prohibition of Commercialization & Reverse Engineering: It is strictly prohibited to use the aforementioned digital assets to train third-party AI models, package them for resale, distribute them publicly, or conduct external commercial teaching under the name of a training institution. Any violation will result in immediate termination of all services by Brainbox, and Brainbox reserves the right to pursue legal liability and financial compensation. 2.3 Account & System Access: All accompanying online system access shall follow the "one account per person" principle. If the system detects abnormal cross-region IP logins or account sharing, Brainbox reserves the right to immediately suspend the account without refund. 2.4 On-Site Recording Restriction: During the course, students are prohibited from making any form of video recording, audio recording, or screen-based capture of the course content, instructor's lecture footage, whiteboard demonstrations, screen projections, or other students' hands-on practice. All course content, demonstrations, and discussion sessions are protected by intellectual property rights and are intended solely for the personal on-site learning of the student. For note-taking purposes, students may photograph their own notes and any distributed printed materials. If Brainbox staff identify any unauthorized recording, they have the right to demand immediate deletion of such recordings on the spot. Serious violations will result in termination of service in accordance with the relevant provisions of these Terms, with no refund provided.
